Outfit: summer pant // silver mules

Top: Uniqlo tee (similar) // Pant: Angelique St Croix // Bag: Coach // Earring: Way Off The Beaten Path // Shoe: Topshop Nino mules

Full disclosure- I've been laying a bit low this summer. It's made starting a new blog a bit tricky because I don't feel like I've been out and about all that much.

Instead, I've been working a lot and preparing for my next moves in life. TBD.

Watching The Good Wife seven years too late (started the series for Logan Huntzberger but kept watching for Kalinda.)

Going to my friend Angelique's pool whenever I have a day off. She also owns a shop downtown (Way off the Beaten Path- 216 Main St.) so her days off tend to be Mondays and Tuesdays, like mine.

Plus, it's been so hot and humid. #wompwomp

Also, I've been keeping a secret and feeling really repressed and off because of it. But the cat's out of the bag, and I realized I HATE keeping cats in bags.

We've decided to close our shop Navette on Maryland Avenue. Our lease goes until the end of September and we're planning on having fun and being busy until then. You can read more here.

We learned a TON about retail downtown and I'm excited to talk openly about it. I have almost too many ideas. What works for good retail isn't the same as what works for food and drink and frankly, I'm sick of retail being shafted in the historic district.

In the meantime, we're taking our collection to Wrabyn in West Annapolis (12 Annapolis Street.) Tons of parking and a truly local street- expect to see more West Annapolis in the future!

A little note on my outfit- I have about five of these Supima scoop neck tees from Uniqlo- I pick them up any time I'm in NYC (Supima > Heattech > Airism but I'm not sure they have the Supima right now.) Usually I wear them under things but I was running around in the heat this day. My pants and earrings are from Way Off the Beaten Path downtown (I have bought a million things from them), and I've been wearing these silver Topshop mules almost every day (size up!)

Oh, and I'm pictured in front of our shop. These days are numbered so I'm making the most of them!
